Who is the best celebrant in Hervey Bay?

Every celebrant is different and you need to choose one who shares your values, sees you vision and really listens.  Lady Sarah is a genuine and ground woman who strives to create ceremonies which truely reflect clients' individuality.

How do we secure a date to get married?

Once you decide on a date, you need to find a Celebrant who has that date available.  They will need to meet with you to get the Notice of Intended Marriage form completed. Contact Lady Sarah to arrange a time to meet..

How would you describe your ceremony style?

I am a friendly and warm person who prides myself on creating a ceremony which reflects your personal, values, style, beliefs, budget, gender and ethnicity.  I tailored all the different components to reflect your uniqueness as a couple. Whether light-hearted or deeply meaningful, I’ll help create a ceremony that feels just right.

Absolutely! You can view client testimonials on my Google Business profile, website and social media pages to see how others have experienced my services.

How much does a wedding in Hervey Bay cost?

A Legals Only ceremony starts at $600.  Taking approximately 10 minutes to complete this is a no bells and whistles.  The general fee for most weddings commences at $800  but averages around $1000 and includes a bespoke ceremony script, planning meeting, legal paperwork assistance, local travel, and rehearsal attendance if needed.

Do you handle the legal paperwork?

Yes, I take care of all legal requirements for your marriage, including lodging the Notice of Intended Marriage and submitting documents post-ceremony.  I can also apply on your behalf for the Official Marriage Certificate issued from Births Deaths and Marriages.

What types of ceremonies do you perform?

I perform Weddings, Funerals, Vow Renewals, Baby Namings, and other life celebrations. If you have something unique in mind, I’d love to hear about it!

Are you a registered or licensed celebrant?

Yes, I am a registered celebrant and authorised to conduct legal ceremonies in accordance with Australian Commonwealth regulations.

How long have you been a celebrant?

I became an authorised celebrant in June 2023 and have had the honor of officiating many beautiful and meaningful ceremonies. Please see my Google Business Profile for supporting evidence.  

Can you travel to our location?

Yes, I’m happy to travel to your chosen venue. Travel fees may apply depending on the distance; please contact me for details.

How would you describe your ceremony style?

Warm, inclusive, and tailored to reflect your unique story. Whether light-hearted, spiritual, formal, or humorous, I’ll help create a ceremony that feels just right.

Can we customise the ceremony?

Absolutely! I work closely with you to personalise every aspect of the ceremony so it reflects your values and personality. There are some aspects which are mandatory but much of ceremony allows me to add rituals, readings and other components to suit your wishes.

Do you help write vows or speeches?

Yes, I offer guidance and support in writing vows, speeches, and readings to ensure they are heartfelt and meaningful.

Can you include cultural or religious elements?

Of course. I’m happy to incorporate cultural traditions, religious rituals, or symbolic elements that are important to you. Although I am not religious I am spiritual and genuinely respect others beliefs

Do you offer bilingual or multilingual ceremonies?

Yes, I can offer bilingual or multilingual ceremonies depending on your needs. Please let me know your language preferences.

Do you require a deposit and how long do you have to pay?

A non-refundable booking fee of $150 is needed to secure your chosen date.  Full payment is required no less than one month prior to the ceremony.  I also allow payment to be paid over three installments.

Do you offer packages or add-ons?

Yes, I offer customisable packages and optional extras to enhance your ceremony experience. Contact me for details.

Who takes care of the music in a Wedding Ceremony?

Lady Sarah takes care of the music played at a ceremony, she also provides microphones.

How long does the ceremony usually last?

Most ceremonies last between 20 to 30 minutes, but this can vary depending on your preferences and the elements included.
